Your Complete Step-by-Step
Surrogacy Journey
No mysteries. No vague timelines. Every step, every milestone, every expectation — laid out clearly before you begin.
Free Consultation
Week 1Your journey begins with a 60-minute video call with our co-founders — a US intended parent and a Ghanaian surrogacy attorney. Bring every question you have. We'll walk you through the process, answer honestly, and help you decide if we're the right fit. No pressure. No commitment.
Application & Agreement
Weeks 2–4Once you decide to move forward, you complete our intake form and we prepare your client agreement. Our attorney co-founder reviews every line with you in plain language before you sign. Every fee is itemized. Every expectation is written down.
Surrogate Matching
Weeks 4–12We introduce you to surrogate matches with video introductions, health summaries, and personal backgrounds. You're never required to match with anyone you're not fully comfortable with. Our attorney co-founder handles the surrogate agreement.
Medical Preparation
Weeks 8–16Your surrogate undergoes comprehensive medical and psychological screening at our partner clinic. Simultaneously, your embryos are prepared. Our team coordinates every appointment and keeps you updated throughout.
Embryo Transfer
Week 14–18Transfer day. Your surrogate undergoes the transfer at our partner IVF clinic. We'll send you a live update as the procedure completes. The two-week wait begins — and we are with you every step.
Confirmed Pregnancy
Week 16–20Two weeks after transfer, your surrogate has her first blood test. If positive, we call you immediately. If unsuccessful, we sit with you, process it together, and outline the next steps clearly — there is always a path forward.
Pregnancy & Updates
Months 2–9Your surrogate lives in our surrogate home in Accra with resident medical staff. You receive same-day updates after every scan, monthly video calls, and access to your client portal. We know how hard the distance is — we've lived it.
Pre-Birth Legal Order
Month 5–7Our attorney co-founder files your pre-birth parental order under Ghana's Act 1027 (2020), typically in the third trimester. This establishes you as the legal parents on your child's birth certificate before birth — one of our core differentiators.
Birth & First Days
Birth weekWhen labor begins, we notify you immediately. Most parents fly to Accra for the birth — we coordinate your travel. Our team is with your surrogate throughout. After birth we handle the Ghanaian birth certificate and registration.
Embassy Process & Homecoming
3–8 weeks post-birthThe embassy process: DNA testing, passport application, and homecoming. Timelines vary by country — US parents typically 3–5 weeks, UK and European parents 6–10 weeks. We support you until you board the plane with your baby.
